A Little White Wedding Chapel is easily my favorite Wedding chapel in Las Vegas. There are so many thoughtful touches and beautiful spots to snap couple’s photos after your Elopement! You really don’t need to venture far to get an iconic Las Vegas photo with this chapel on your side. While this blog post is not a review on the Wedding chapel (which I love!) I do want to walk you through what a potential 2 hour elopement in downtown Las Vegas could look like, starting with Marc + Mikaela’s Vow Renewal at A Little White Wedding Chapel.
Marc + Mikaela flew all the way from the East Coast for an event in Las Vegas and decided they were going to do a vow renewal at a little white wedding chapel during their stay. They had a short and sweet ceremony under the gazebo to reaffirm their commitment to one another. Vow Renewals are such a beautiful way to strengthen one’s relationship and to honor all that you’ve been through together. Also a great opportunity to put your Wedding attire on again!
After Marc + Mikaela said their “I do’s”, we had about an hour of sunlight left to take a few couple’s photos. We started with A Little White Chapels iconic pink cadillac to get the party started. A fun fact about this Cadillac: You can actually have your wedding ceremony inside this vintage beauty. And I mean literally sit inside it as if you were about to drive away. Elvis is an option for this one too!
Another one of my favorite things about A Little White Wedding Chapel is it’s location and surroundings. You get the most epic view of the Strat Hotel in front of the chapel, the gold musical finishings on the gate for the drive through is vintage perfection and there are rows of palm tree’s that give that perfect Vegas back drop.
We left A Little White Wedding Chapel with just enough time to catch the tail end of golden hour. Once we arrived to Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, we hopped out of the car and booked it to Graffiti alley behind Evel Pie. Mikaela was a big fan of the Las Vegas graffiti scene, so we had to make our first stop there and in my option, it’s best when there’s still some daylight! They were big fans of stranger things, so it only felt right to snap a few photos next to Vecna.
The best part of choosing Fremont Street for your Las Vegas elopement photos is that you can walk everywhere. It take about 10 minutes to walk from one side of Fremont to the other, with so much in between when it comes to your photos. If you plan on wearing heels, I highly suggest bringing a pair of comfy shoes for this area.
I am going to let you in on a little secret about one of the best rooftops that is perfect for your Las Vegas lights photos. Binions hotel. If you want to avoid the crowds on Fremont street, you will want to put this rooftop on your bucket-list for your Las Vegas elopement. We didn’t see another soul up there and had the Binion’s sign completely to ourselves. Marc + Mikaela danced, played and even even found a huge disco ball that we used for a few photos!
The only con to this rooftop is that it does cost $5 an hour to get in. But if you plan to stay in the area for more photo’s, this is a great central parking location to all of the classic Fremont Street photo spots!
We polished off the night by braving the crowds and heading down to the Fremont experience in downtown Las Vegas. Marc + Mikaela changed their outfits to switch things up and we tried to blend in as much as possible. The thing about crowds in Las Vegas is that it’s just part of the experience and you have to embrace it as much as possible. People come from all over the world to see Vegas and all of it’s funky spot’s, so it really isn’t that uncommon to have a photographer flash a few photos in a crowd of people.
Marc + Mikaela were so much fun to work with! They were up for anything I had in mind, so I made the most of their time and basically took them on a mini tour of downtown Las Vegas. We covered SO much of the Fremont area in just one hour, I was really impressed! I love getting to work with couple’s who have never been to Las Vegas because when they see the strip or Fremont all lit up, it’s truly amazing to see the look on their faces and watch them enjoy it together. This was hands down one of my favorite evenings I’ve spent in Vegas. I am constantly in awe of how much this place has to offer!
