Not just a photographer,
for adventurous souls
but a visual storyteller
I am a Wedding + Elopement photographer who spends half the year van life-ing around the Las Vegas desert and the other half summering in the beautiful PNW.
Nothing excites me more than the outdoors and even more so, photographing others in the outdoors.
Being a retired travel nurse, I spent a lot of time moving from place to place. Everywhere I went, my camera came with me! My vision to become a travel Wedding and Elopement photographer sparked when I was hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (a 2650-mile trail from Mexico to Canada!), and I haven't looked back.
Documenting every couple's unique love story and true authentic selves is what lights my soul on fire and gives me purpose.

I have always loved spending time in the great outdoors. So much so, that I spent a whole 5 months backpacking from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. Here, my life and everything that it meant, changed.
I found clarity in what I really wanted to do with my life- photographing elopements in the outdoors. I was scared to leave my nursing career and jump into something new, and here we are. I thought if I can walk 2650 miles, I can do this!
Similar to my euphoric experiences on the trail, I want to provide similar opportunities for you on the best day of your life. I know firsthand how deeply life-changing these moments can be. Honestly? There is nothing quite like making it to the top of a peak and staring at the vast landscape.

MY FAV THINGS
Outside of photographing elopements, you can usually find me spending time with my partner, Ross, and our pup, Mose (yes, like Mose from the Office).
In my spare time, I am usually traveling around in my renovated van to see new places! Although these are typically mountainous areas, we also love a good beach drive or desert off-road day.
I am a sucker for backpacking, climbing, and snowboarding. If I am being completely transparent, those hobbies typically determine where my next destination will be. When I am not out adventuring, I am exploring local coffee shops, thrifting, eating a form of potatoes (my fav food), and watching endless re-runs of New Girl and The Office.

No matter where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth. Each of us with a different story to share.
No tale is one and the same.
That, my friends, is why documenting love stories is my favorite thing of all.

BEHIND THE LENS
During your elopement or wedding, you can rest assured knowing I will be prepared, ready, and keeping the vibes high.
As a documentary-style photographer, my goal is to tell your story exactly how it happened and keep you comfortable in front of the camera the entire time. I want you to enjoy every moment and really be present with one another, so keeping a more candid approach is how I love to guide my couples.
When it comes to editing your gallery, I believe every photo should be given the time it deserves.
Each one has a purpose in telling your story, and I don't want to miss a single detail. Editing is equally as important to me as capturing every moment. I love to keep my photos true to color and reflect the tones that were present for your day.
I pour my heart and soul into recreating your day all over again so you will have these memories to cherish for a lifetime!

We had an elopement in Las Vega, just the two of us. It turned out to be the best decision to entrust Jackie to be our photographer. The photos all came out so cool and fun, just how we had imagined.
